Staff Engineer & Architect·AI-Orchestrated Delivery·Practitioner, not commentator
.NET·C#·Angular·SQL Server·Writer at Plain Machine
Staff engineer and architect shipping production .NET SaaS with AI agents in the loop. Practitioner of AI, not a commentator on it.
I've built distributed systems serving 135,000+ Army users and multi-tenant SaaS across the U.S. and Canada. Currently directing Claude Code, custom MCP servers, and agentic workflows in production delivery.
The foundation is years of .NET, SQL Server, and distributed systems. AI orchestration is the leverage.
I bridge executive priorities with hands-on delivery. I lead small teams, shape roadmap tradeoffs, and design architectures that balance cost, scalability, and resilience. My experience spans distributed APIs, SQL Server and PostgreSQL, event-driven systems with RabbitMQ, and now MCP servers and agentic workflows.
Three threads running in parallel: production AI delivery at work, custom AI infrastructure I'm building, and writing that simplifies modern engineering for a smart non-technical audience.
Directing Claude Code agents on production .NET and Angular work. Shared coding agent standards, prompt and plan libraries, terminal-driven work-item generation, automated test coverage.
Architected an MCP server providing the AI agent with bounded access to product tools and tabular data. Chained tool use and real-time visualization in chat.
Substack writing on prompt engineering, agentic workflows, MCP architecture, and how senior engineers operate alongside AI agents in production.
Single column, ATS-safe, current as of May 2026.
Staff or Principal Engineer roles at AI-native companies, or senior engineering leadership at SaaS companies serious about AI as production infrastructure. Open to fractional CTO and technical advisory work alongside full-time. Phoenix-based, comfortable remote, willing to travel for the right team.
